1. The
Control Panel
|
This is where you'll decide what you'll be doing in the i-detect program. The control panel is designed to look like the control panel on some of the most popular metal detectors. You may select a different look (skin) for your control panel from the Options button.

2. Records - Location Information
|
This section allows you to enter detailed information such as name, property type, city, state, country, owner, comments, GPS coordinates, keywords and more for each location.

3. Records - General Pictures
|
Add pictures of the general area and/or pictures of friends and family in this section.

Records - Related Documents
|
Add related documents such as maps, historical records, website references, search agreements and others to a record.

5. Map
|
This feature will allow you to view your detecting areas using an online map. The GPS coordinates you entered for a record or item will be plotted and markers placed on the map. To use this feature you'll need a fairly fast (not dial-up) internet connection.

6. Records - Items
|
This section allows you to add items you have found (coins, jewelry, relics, etc) to the location. Detector model and coil size may also be added here along with the depth the item was found at along with other details.
